About me

Throughout my life, I have experienced an enormous amount of hardships that have changed me into the person I am today: a person who never gives up and who motivates other people who attend Apostle Lutheran High School. Becoming a Freshman and going to high school for the first year is not easy: taking care of my grades, learning skills that I’ve never imagined, doing after school activities, improving my leadership by attending Civil Air Patrol, and volunteering to help my taekwondo studio to improve. Even though it’s extremely challenging, I never give up because that is my motto that I need to keep in order to succeed.

Before I entered high school, I didn’t know anything about having responsibilities, managing time, and what it means to go through hard courses in life. But, as soon as I entered High School, my mind and how I act completely changed. I suddenly noticed everything that I do in High School will impact my life. My experience in attending Civil Air Patrol impacted my leadership and having time management.

While training and competing for Taekwondo, I learned that taekwondo is known for self- defense in addition to developing self- confidence, respect, perseverance, and loyalty. Competitions, helped promote friendship and sense of community through friendly competitions and are an integral part in overall developments of individual students. I have been practicing Taekwondo for many years and have learned about responsibility. I am in a position where I can give back to the community by being a volunteer mentor for other students.
